Does Hevy have automatic progressive overload?
On Pro. Hevy Trainer builds a program and gives progressive-overload suggestions; Hevy's help center describes it as algorithmic and says it does not rely on AI.
WLog's progression is free. You set the increment per exercise; WLog applies it after a successful session, holds after a miss and deloads after repeated misses. With Global weight increase on, the same exercise goes up in every routine that contains it. More on how it works.
Which is cheaper, WLog PRO or Hevy Pro?
WLog PRO is $6.99 a month or $39.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan. Hevy Pro is $2.99 a month or $23.99 a year, or $74.99 once for lifetime access. The core of WLog (unlimited routines, automatic progression and the Apple Watch app) is free, so you may never need PRO.
Can I switch from Hevy to WLog?
Yes, for your routines: rebuild them free, or paste them as text or a screenshot into AI import (saving requires PRO). Past history stays in Hevy's CSV export; WLog has no CSV import.
