Comparison
WLog vs Strong (2026)
Why choose WLog over Strong?
- Unlimited free routines. Strong's free plan allows 3 templates; a push/pull/legs split uses all three. WLog has no limit on routines, workouts or custom exercises.
- Automatic progression. Give each exercise an increment, such as +5 lb or +2.5 kg. When every set reaches its target reps, the weight goes up next session; miss three sessions in a row and the lift drops 10%. We could not find anything like it on Strong's App Store page or in its help center.
- Programs from a photo or PDF. Import a plan from a camera photo, screenshot, PDF or text (PRO). We could not find this in Strong.
- Free body measurements. WLog logs 14 body measurements on the free plan; Strong puts body-part measurements in PRO.
- 1,158 exercises with 1,067 offline demo videos, RPE and RIR, and every set type.
